BURMA 2005

It has been my first travel to Burma and also my first journey to Asia as well. I visited Burma from March to April.

This country has the longest existing military junta in the world, and the government is controlling most parts of tourism and the people are constantly suppressed by this brutal dictatorship. In the border regions a civil-war is raging against the ethnic minorities since more than 60 years.
