NEPAL 2008
From June to August 2008 I travelled to Nepal. For the first time I moved my destination from South-East Asia to South Asia. I have been to various places in this hilly country and was more interested in the social situation of the country, rather than trekking the mountains. Sometimes I went along with the German-Nepalese Help Association to their projects or I visited other humanitarian projects.
On various occasions I went to the protests of the Tibetans, which already started in March after the uprising in Tibet. Some of these images can be seen in the Protests 2008 section.
My deepest thanks go to everyone, who I met there and who helped me to get around.
