QUO VADIS?

The series ‘Quo Vadis?’ or ‘The Ephemeral Nature of Frontiers’ has several levels of meaning.
I mostly use old maps whose borders are no longer valid today. This shows that national borders are not permanent and are constantly changing.
The series also raises the question of what constitutes a nation or a country. It is above all the people who live there and their culture. What they write, how they dress and how they shape their everyday lives.
